Join a team
Here’s how to join a team on JDoodle, either by accepting an invite or by sending a join request to your teacher or team owner.
Join a team via invitation
To join a team on JDoodle, you can accept an invitation from the team owner or admin.
Once invited, you’ll receive an email with the invitation link. Click the link to complete the signup process, or sign up on JDoodle using the same email address and accept the team invite during signup.
Important:
When you join a team, the team owner will be able to see every project you save in this account. If you want a private space to store projects, create a separate JDoodle personal account for that purpose.
Join a team using Join Account Request
If you already have a JDoodle account, you can request to join a team directly.
For students or users requesting access

- Log in to your JDoodle account
- Go to your Profile page
- Click Join Team Account
- Enter your team owner’s email address
- Submit the request
Your request will be sent to the team owner for approval.
For teachers or team owners approving requests

- Log in to your JDoodle team account
- Open the menu and go to Manage Teams
- Review the pending Join Account Request
- Approve the request
After approval, ask the student to log out and log back in for the changes to take effect.
This method allows users to join a team without deleting or recreating their account. All existing projects remain intact.
How to join multiple teams
You can only join one team with a team account. To join another team or create a new team, you will need to create a new account. Team owners also cannot join another team.
Things to keep in mind
- If you have multiple invites, you can only accept one team invite. All other invites will be declined automatically.
- If you choose to create a personal account, all existing team invites will be canceled.
