Getting Started

Before creating an assessment, you’ll need to:

  • Add students to the platform
  • Create a student group or classroom for easy management

Adding Students & Teachers

You can add:

  • Individual students
  • Student groups/classrooms
  • Co-teachers

This enables collaboration, better tracking, and smoother classroom management.

Creating an Assessment

When setting up an assessment, you can:

  • Add a name and description
  • Set a default programming language and version
  • Decide how results will be disclosed (manual release or on submission)
  • Configure the result format (marks, comments, or both)
  • Choose the marking type (auto-correct, auto-score, negative marking)

Adding Questions

JDoodle supports five question types:

  1. Multiple Choice – One Answer
  2. Multiple Choice – Multiple Answers
  3. True or False
  4. Open-Ended
  5. Program-based

Editing & Managing Assessments

Even after creation, assessments are flexible. You can:

  • Edit questions
  • Merge two assessments
  • Adjust duration
  • Preview before publishing
  • Delete unwanted assessments (⚠️ delete is permanent)

Providing Feedback

After submission, teachers can:

  • Give detailed feedback on each question
  • Provide personalized guidance
  • Allow students to apply for re-evaluation

Creating Assessments with JDroid AI

Instead of adding questions manually, you can generate them with JDroid AI.
Just specify:

  • The topic
  • The number of questions
  • The types of questions

Requirements for Publishing

Before publishing an assessment, ensure:

  • At least one student is enrolled
  • At least one question is added

Teachers and admins can add/manage students, create assessments, evaluate, re-evaluate, and provide feedback.


For Students

Students can:

  • Access assessments assigned by teachers/admins
  • Answer and mark questions for review
  • Submit assignments
  • Receive feedback
  • Apply for re-evaluation if needed

Plan Limits

  • Free Plan → Draft up to 2 assessments and publish 1
  • Team Plan → 5 active assessments + 2 drafts
  • Custom Plans → Additional flexibility available
