Introduction to Assessment
Welcome to JDoodle Assessments! Your new platform to conduct assessments.
JDoodle’s Assessment lets you create virtual assignments with automated grading, negative marking, progress tracking, and student re-evaluation support. You can create an assignment with various question types, including program-based questions, and add students, student groups, and teachers to an Assessment. With JDoodle’s Assessment, you can:
Create an Assessment
While creating an Assessment, you can give a name and description, set the default language and version, choose how results are disclosed (manually or on submission), configure the result format, and specify the marking type. Read more on how to create an assessment on JDoodle →
Add questions
Teachers can create five types of questions:
- Multiple-choice- one answer
- Multiple choice- multiple answers
- True or False,
- Open-ended, and
- Programs

Edit and manage an assessment
You can edit assessments even after they have been created. This includes editing the questions, merging two assessments, changing the duration, previewing, or deleting. Read more on how to edit and manage assessments→
Adding student & teachers
You can add students, student groups, and co-teachers to assessments. This results in collaboration among assessment participants and increases a sense of togetherness. Read More about how to add students and teachers→
Provide feedback
After students submit their assessments, teachers can provide detailed feedback on every question they answer, allowing them to provide personalized guidance to each student. Read More →
Create Assessment with JDroid AI
You can manually create questions or use JDroid AI to generate them. With JDroid AI, you can create an Assessment by answering questions about the topic of the assignment, the number of questions, and the types of questions. Read More →
What are the requirements for using Assessment?
If you’re a student looking for your Assessment, contact your teacher or organization admin to access the Assessment.
- You must add students to your course before publishing it. Ensure you have at least one student enrolled and one question created before publishing.
- Teachers and administrators can add students or teachers, create assessments, mark assessments, re-evaluate, and provide feedback.
Assessment for students
Students can take assessments after they’re added by their teachers or organization admins. They can complete their assignments, mark questions for review, submit assignments, get feedback, and apply for re-evaluation. Read More →
