Can I use JDoodle without signing up?
Yes. You can write and run code straight away, with a limited number of runs per session. Signing up is free and lifts that to 1,000 a day, plus saved projects and JDoodle AI.
What does "unlimited" mean?
It means no published number and no upgrade needed to go further. Generous limits sit behind it to stop one account affecting everyone else, and support raises them free of charge if you reach one.
Is the free plan a trial?
No. It does not expire and does not need a card. Teachers can run a class on it - students, assessments and questions are all unlimited on Free.
What is the difference between Pro and Teacher?
Pro upgrades one person: the subscriber gets the bigger workspace and every language version. Teacher upgrades everyone in the account, which is why it costs more per month but far less per person.
Do I need a platform plan to use the API?
No. The Compiler API is a separate subscription. A free platform account can hold any API tier, and a Teacher account can hold none. They are billed separately.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Any time, from your account. Changing between monthly and yearly, or between plans, takes effect on your next billing date.
What happens to my projects if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. If you are over a lower plan's limit you keep read access to everything and can save new work once you are back under it.
